Motorists can reach the Ruhr-Univerität easily via Germany's - and especially North Rhine-Westphalia's - dense motorway network. The fastest route is that via the motorway junction Bochum/Witten, where the motorways A43 and A44 meet. Simply take the exit for Bochum_Querenburg, follow the signs for "Ruhr-Universität" and, once there, look for the (electronic) information boards.

With the U 35 you reach the Ruhr-Universität Bochum in the fastest way. Coming from the main station in the direction of Bochum-Hustadt, get off at the Universität. During the day the subway runs every five minutes and takes about nine minutes from the main station to the campus. Coming from the U35 stop, walk over the pedestrian bridge towards UB ("Universitätsbibliothek"), this large building is on the right and goes in the direction of natural sciences (green buildings). The NB building is the second building. Take the elevator to the 5th floor.
